My favorite little yarn store. They have a wide variety of price points, fiber content, and weights. The ambiance is like exploring a small fiber library for hidden treasures. The owners are very kind and helpful. They had a massive sale in the fall that was great to stock up on yarn and tools. They also are a yarn store that hosts visiting fiber brand pop- up-shops-- like the Madelintosh van. Acorn Street Shop is one of the few places I don't mind spending more than intended to, because I know I'll use and enjoy everything I bought there.

Wonderful shop. The staff were extremely helpful and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. They also wound my purchase into balls for me and gave me a bag since it was raining. Their selection is wonderful and includes many high quality types of yarn. Would recommend to everyone.

Hello! We are continuing with our current hours, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10am-6pm. We are not yet fully staffed so need to continue with our adjusted hours for now, but we're feeling hopeful thanks to all of the good news surrounding the vaccine. We'll be sure to post as soon as the rest of our staff returns and we're able to go back to our old hours.
Oh no, so sorry! We don't regularly carry Lantern Moon needles anymore, we've switched over to Knitter's Pride Dreamz for wooden single point needles. However, we do have a select few sizes of Lantern Moon 10" straights in our sale section (US5, US13, and US15 only) so if one of those happen to be the size you need we can help you out!
Hi Jeanne - We carry a large selection of Waverly Wool in 8 yard hanks (326 colors to be exact!). It is put up as a three ply 100% wool yarn, but if you strip it down to one ply it would cover a 13-count canvas nicely. We can also special order any color in the 164 yard hanks if you need a lot of yardage for a background color. Thanks for asking!
They no longer stock them. I dont think any Seattle store has them. You'll have better luck getting one online.
