This store has a lot of amazing animals. However in my opinion, it is filthy! The guinea pigs tank was so dirty that there were flies circling their food. There is bird food everywhere, and some of the animals looked crowded and not safely housed (in my opinion) We went to purchase an axolotl. The axolotl tanks appeared clean, and the room was temprature regulated, but that was the only cleanish area in the whole store. We had done extensive research on purchasing an axolotl-had a 20 plus gallon tank at home that had been cycling for weeks in preparation. The store is run by 2 elderly men (or so it appeared at the time) and we seemed to know more about the axolotl needs then the man we worked with. Not only that but a huge markup in price. I will not support this store, as I am concerned about safety for the animals. This appears to be an unsafe pet hoarding situation.

There were flies all over the animals and water all over the floor from the leaking aquariums. I actually feel bad for the animals in here. The only thing nice was the axolotl room, but that shouldn’t be at the expense of the rest of the store’s condition. I would not support stores that are run in this manner.

This place could for sure use a good deep clean. They do have a wide assortment of freshwater fish but some of the tanks had multiple dead fish in them. I seen some ick on a few fish in 1 tank, seemed isolated as all their tanks are not connected in one system they are mostly separate tanks. One thing I will say for sure is their prices are amazing, three Blood Fin Tetras for $5!!!! They also sell live brine shrimp at a good price which is hard to find around here. They also have great prices on used equipment. I only shopped in the Fish section so I can't say much for the rest of the store really. So the question is would I recommend this store and shop here in the future? The answer is YES.

I love this store....love it even more now that they have an amazing axolotl area. It's amazing. So clean and organized. The owner is so nice. I can totally understand why theyve been in business for like 50 years. Did i mention how beautiful their axolotls are? Gasp....u gotta check them out.

Do not let the looks of the store food you it is a full ran business with plenty of those in a very private beautiful setting that you will not see by just entering and looking in the store ask for them and take your time in that store you'll be amazed at what's behind those glass doors and always always speak with someone about if I buy two can I get a deal that word is King all over the world you just never know unless you ask just talked with mr. Jeremy he will be your Guiding Light
