I've done the math, and the only benefit for me to use the Music City Star, would be to save a little on gas. Time wise, it is around the same time if I drive downtown. If they increase the amount of times the train runs, and build more stations it would be worth it. Until then, I'll be driving.

Close - the train stops at Riverfront Station near 1st and Broadway, about two blocks from Church st.
