People had warned me about using Walmart for my auto services and to check that they are certified for your car as services can void your dealer warranty. I hadn't had any issues until I went to this location. They failed to put the bolts back that held my skid plate. I left the store parking lot and as soon as I turned on to the main highway the plate dropped and scraped along the street for about a mile (while I drove at 10mph), turning around and getting back to the store. Of course, they didn't have my original bolts and didn't have any to replace them. So the employee used zip ties to hold it in place and told me to go to the nearest Auto Zone and get replacement bolts and have an Auto Zone employee install it. Long story short, I called corporate to report the incident, got the bolts added (didn't remove zip ties - expected for Walmart to get back to me), followed up once or twice, forgot about it, went about six months until the skid plate dropped down again and popped the zip ties then broke pieces off the plate, prompting me to follow up with corporate again. This time the issue was escalated to the store manager who instructed me to call in to complete an insurance claim. Jumped through those hoops with another non-responsive claims representative for two months. I stayed on top of things this time. Only to find out today, that I was "mailed a denial letter" a month ago that I never received. Makes no sense because all communication and documentation was previously sent via email. Go to a credible car mechanic. The coins that you save at Walmart isn't worth the headache and cost when you have to replace something due to their negligence and error. I will save my coins and pay for a reputable place.
