Cost Less or Care Less? As a future customer, would you rather have your purchase cost less, or when there is a problem, have the management staff care less about how they will make it right on your behalf? WARNING: Because Cost Less does not employ the contractors who install your flooring/tile, and the contractors all own small businesses, if there is a mistake, Cost Less could blame the contractor, and the contractor could blame Cost Less and you might be stuck in the middle without resolution. This is where we found ourselves, and had to go to small claims court to get our situation resolved (I will post an update after the ruling). Our situation is very simple. We ordered a single type of backsplash tile for our kitchen and our laundry room. When Cost Less loaded out the tile, their warehouse worker loaded two different types of backsplash tile. The tile setter put up the backsplash in the kitchen (2 walls) and the laundry room (3 walls), that Cost Less had given him. Once the grout haze cleared, it was very clear that two types of backsplash had been installed on our walls. The morning after the install was completed we contacted Cost Less to notify them that two different tiles had been put on our walls. The owner blamed the tile worker for not noticing the difference. "The tile worker is our last line of defense and should have caught this mistake" the owner told me. The contractor told us that he was booked solid for several months and would try to get us in to fix the walls. In their defense, Cost Less did re-order the correct backsplash, and then made us pay for it. At no point did Cost Less offer to bring another contractor to my house to rip out the tile before the mortar fully set. At no point did Cost Less assume responsibility for the error and offer to make it right. This might be the same situation you find yourself in if you choose to have your purchase cost less. I am sure my situation isn't the first tile mistake that has been made, and it certainly will not be the last. What does my situation tell you about costing less versus caring less that you did not know before? WARNING: Because Cost Less does not employ the contractors who install your flooring/tile, and the contractors all own small businesses, if there is a mistake, Cost Less could blame the contractor, and the contractor could blame Cost Less and you might be stuck in the middle without resolution.

Great place to get tile and carpet. They have a nice size warehouse to pick from. Scott is great to work with. He is very professional, patient, and tries his best to meet your needs. All of our choices came out great and made our home look fantastic.

At no time, EVER!, has anyone at Costless attempted to "upcharge", period. They have a list of reliable sub contractor's that can install your carpet, tile, flooring, granite, or other products. I purchased my counter tops from Costless and used a contractor suggested, Serge. I saved thousands of dollars and got the install done professionally and timely. Let me also inform you that I have purchased numerous products from Costless. The one flooring I bought from another vendor was a failure, cost me over $7000 and two years of headaches.
Lots of choices. You would have to go and find one and price it out
