The library is always awesome. Staff is friendly and funny and helpful. Played chess with my daughter and checking out books was a breeze with their futuristic self service kiosk things. Everyone go to the library!

I spend a lot of time here, great staff and computer room upstairs. Unhappy with book relocation and the cement floor still looks unfinished. The book locker was a great idea, and the website is far more user friendly than most.

I love our Carson City public library! I went to update my account information so that I can access online audio books and more. I also was there to meet with a representative from senator Rosen's office on the social security matter. Helpful and friendly staff. A great use for taxes. Take advantage of all they have to offer.

The wifi is good and the children's section has toys but that's it's only redeeming factors. There are drunk homeless walking through and one of them was eyeing my four year old but the staff did nothing. I tried to find a place where I could plug in and do homework but they closed the computer lab and rudely kicked me out of the corner that I had found an outlet at. Not only that, but they cancelled my reservation for my meeting hours before my meeting was scheduled. Overall a garbage library for the obvious amount of funding they have.

Definitely open for public access. Restrooms available on the main floor immediately upon entry. No membership necessary to be in the building or to read books on site. Plenty of chairs and some tables around. Upstairs is a computer lab and more seating area. 🙏 welcome 🙏 🤗
Go down to the courthouse on Roop snd ask, it's upstairs, Alternative Sentencing or something.
Yes, you can use the public computer at the library and print emails. It will cost, I believe 10 cents each. The library is still closed right now going through a remodel.
There is an app called libby that you can download and connect to the library
Yes. Bring your own storage device, (USB drive) and download directly to it.
Sure .. if there is enough staff to work and money to pay them. There isn't. Pull out your checkbook.
If you have a card you can borrow any books, and they probably have the ones you need
