The Gig Harbor Fly Shop is my go to fly shop for the Olympic Peninsula. I am an avid fisherman and fly tier. The people there are very knowledgable and great to hang around with. The selection of tying material and fishing gear is exceptional for a store that size and they always have what you need in stock. The store is also always very clean and organized. If there is a product they do not carry they can order it in for you in a timely manner. The employees are all dedicated to the sport and are all knowledgeable for setting you up with a combo or the right line. This is a great store for fly tiers, fly fisherman, and people getting into the sport of fly fishing. In this day in age, good mom and pop stores are hard to come by. Do your community a service and shop here over the big stores or online stores like amazon.

Blake and his crew host great trips and training classes. Most recently my partner and I went on a shop sponsored trip to Craig, MT to fish 3 days on the upper Missouri. It was Patty’s first drift fishing trip; it won’t be her last. The guides and water were top quality. Blake was a great host, the trip was a delight. Oh, by the way, we caught way to many fish to count all three days on the water.
