Very pretty, wooded trail known to some locals as "Zombie Road". Centuries ago it was part of a river crossing but its history has melded with legend. While it's fun to talk about the many tall tales surrounding this trail, it's better to enjoy nature and to not disturb the peace or get yourself ticketed for being on-site after hours.

I'm going to give this trail several awards. Most bridges, most fallen trees across water to play on, nicest scenic views, probably most shaded in summer, most resting benches in a 2 mike stretch. Most of this trail is paved but you can easily branch off on Zombie trail for even longer hike or ride.

This trailhead leads to Rock Hollow trail which is paved with 13 bridges and connects to Zombie trail, Alfoster Trail, and Bluff View trail. It even connects to Castlewood and GreensFelder. Some of best paved, gravel, and MTB trails in Greater St. Louis.
