Awesome 2 mile trail, took about an hour and a half with lots of stopping for pictures. Such a beautiful park and amazing views on a fairly moderate hike! There are a few wooden staircases located along the mostly dirt trail, and look out for rocks and roots. Trail can be a little slick/muddy at the beginning. There are tons of caves, amazing rock formations (some you can walk through/under), and a few small waterfalls along the trail. This was such a fun trail and so worth it!

The hike was around 2.5 miles. The trail looped around! There were some muddy spots. Would recommend bringing a snack & water. ( pick up your trash though) it was lots of fun!

Great park! Loved everything about it. Moderate hike for the average hiker. I only gave it 4 stars because the trail marking was really bad. Couldn't have done it without all trails.

A absolutely gorgeous hike however be aware there are no restrooms. So make sure you go the the bathroom before you get there. A definite worthy stop to make if you’re reasonably close. It’s an hour drive for me and we’ll worth the drive.

I'll say hard. It's rough in a couple spots
I've been going there for about 15 years. Karst topography, some of the oldest rocks Missouri, gerns are prehistoric relics. As far as accidents go, I'm sure some happen as people are prone to climbing on the rocks although it is clearly marked not to do so. There is no railing along the cliffs so caution is advised.
No. The trail is for hiking. There are steep drops and narrow passageways.
No
Shawn is super close and had non reservable spaces for tents. so it is first come first serve, but it might be a little hot this weekend 🔥
It's free, but keep in mind there are only a dozen parking spots, a couple picnic tables and the best geological features short hiking trail in Missouri. This is really just a trail head, no 'park' with bathrooms or other features. Absolutely worth it though, if you like neat rock features.
No. There isn't anywhere to swim here. A couple of wet creek beds when it rains.
