Got married at 1000 feet above the Methow Valley in a Snohomish Balloon Rides (SBR) hot air balloon at the Winthrop Balloon Round-up last weekend. It was an amazing, wonderful, memorable, (add your own superlative here), ride/wedding. More so in that Bob (our pilot) was able to punctuate our ceremony and vows with beautifully timed blasts on the burners. To top it off Bob and two other SBR pilots were all able to land on the helipad at the airport as is the plan. The other 8 or so pilot's that day, not so much. It is completely amazing. Loved the experience. The flight depends on wind direction. So, be patient in advance. Once wind favours, flight takes off and you get to experience what is worth waiting for. We were in air for 50 minutes and didn't realize how fast time passed. Captain and his team are very knowledgeable and gives safety a priority. We had to reschedule twice but it was worth it. Loved the champagne celebration at the end of flight as it's a tradition.

Hi, Thank you for your interest in our balloon rides. Our largest balloon flies up to 10 people. The average ride is an hour aloft. Prices vary for and start at $249 per person. Weekends book the fastest so allow 4 to 5 weeks for Saturday or Sundays. Regards Bob
We fly weather permitting both am and pm flight schedules through Sept 26
Sunrise flights are $259/ person and Sunset flight are $275/ person. Sunrise flight average an hour and Sunset flights average a little less. Total time with us is about 3 hours.
