Great park with lots of room for the doggo to run. Water is available and there are some trees with a walking path to enjoy. Everyone I have interacted with has been friendly. Kids playground next door as well.

We've been coming to Summit Park since it opened, but lately, we've been heading to other local parks. I'm not sure why, but masks are rarely worn by any of the parents and very few kiddos (as I sit here now, I am the only parent out of 12, that is wearing a mask and my 2 kids are the only ones, out of 23 kiddos, that have them on) -- and it's been this way for a few months now. I get people are tired of everything Covid and want things to go back to normal, but my family isn't eligible for vaccines yet, so it's as simple as wearing a mask to help do our part to get things back to normal. It would also be one thing to choose not to wear a mask, but if you don't want to wear one, then at least respect staying 6' away from others -- which definitely was not the case here at the park. Otherwise, the park is usually clean, there are plenty of benches to sit on, a covered picnic area, and restrooms (though the restrooms are particularly dirty today). There are also great soccer fields, a basketball court, and a fenced in dog park, too. Maybe when things get better and more people are vaccinated, we'll come back -- but for now, we'll opt for other parks.

Even wet and rainy my dogs were mud free! Maybe not sand free, but this place is a great location, good sized for long ball throws. Great little walking trail too. We will return

This is a great new park! The playground is clean and new. The astro turf at the playground is great too! It had baby swings and regular swings. Lots of things for toddlers and bigger kids to play with. It has a skate park, ball fields and an off leash dog park is being worked on but not open yet.
