Two weeks in a row now, USPS was supposed to deliver an Amazon package but instead of actually delivering it, they have marked it as "insufficient address." The first time I thought it was a legitimate issue so I was ready to go to the post office the next day. However, as I was pulling out of my driveway, I noticed my "undeliverable" package on my front porch. They've just pulled the exact same stunt again. I'm really getting tired of not getting my packages on time just because someone just doesn't want to do their job.

Hard to believe but I had amazing customer service at the Delaware post office. She was able to find a lost package and give me the rest of my late mail. Our carrier was injured and she made everything right.

If it's for a group box, like at an apartment complex, you can call in or stop in and schedule them to replace the lock and get you a new key. There is a fee if you lost it, but it's free if you're a new resident.

It truly depends on how much mail they have that day, however, most of the time mail is delivered by 6. If it's a sub or new person it may be later. Holidays also affect this. Source: I'm a mailman's daughter.
Generally speaking, yes. Provided the return address is correct. There are some cases where carriers realize where your trying to send the letter and will deliver it.
