Called a few times trying to get in and get scheduled. Have a tooth that chipped off and it's open in the back receptionist didn't see like she knew what she was doing. Asked for times and days she said call back for cancellation without giving any days or times. Then apparently scheduling was five months out. Not until September. I will be finding another dentist. When I went in previously the drilled most of my two teeth away and filled it but it was sloppy to where I could barely floss between the teeth and there was a gap to where liquid could still get under to the tooth. Everything seems rushed and while friendly they want to stretch multiple appointments over long periods of time instead of just handling what needs to be done. Problem side of my mouth is what was worked on and that is the same side that chipped. Going to find another dentist who can actually help me without causing more problems and that can get my in when emergencies arise. And to the respond. Being a person struggling with homelessness and so much going on it is downright disgusting to say I can not be serviced based on hardships getting to appointments in the past. Especially with everything going on. You say you accept emergencies but the only response from the so called receptionist before even mentioning a date or time and getting my information was call back tomorrow and see if we have an opening. She jumped to that before having any information on my past visits. It's a sad excuse and non professional. And the response shows it. From this I see you don't care about your patients and what they go through like mentioned before just to get people in and out of care. It was never mentioned at follow up appointments because after that experience I didn't want to return and I because hesitant and scared again of receiving care because of the job that was done. So congratulations on scaring people so much they don't even want to go to the dentist until something is severely wrong. Just for them to get turned away when they work up the courage for that very fact. Says so much about this facility.

I was looking for a black dentist in the columbus area that I could make my new dentist home and was suggested that I try this place out since I was having tooth pain. I have had bad experiences with dentist before so I had not been to one in awhile. My visit turned out to be a huge waste of time. After registration and being called back to do xrays the hygienist Ethel, im assuming immediately did a cleaning with no warning. I was never briefed on that happening because I merely wanted my problem cavity to be looked at and fixed. But I have experience being at a dental office, so I allowed it that way the doctor could have a better look at my teeth. However throughout the whole cleaning she just kept suggesting on how I needed braces. After making her aware at least twice that thats not what im here for, she seemed to have an attitude. My biggest issue with dental offices is that first off you’re not an orthodontist and secondly if I wanted your advice or referral then I would have asked for it but as she was already made aware, I know what dental hygiene is and how often I should see a dentist, be flossing, brush my teeth etc. My teeth aren’t nearly as bad as she was dragging it out to be and I know its customary to ask questions which is why I remained civil. Its already frustrating having to find a dentist especially since most should assume and know that sometimes people who have not been to the dentist in awhile, for a variety of reasons are already on edge about dental care. Not to mention the cost of dental care! But reiterating things that I had already made her aware of was disrespectful. Its as if I would have told her, has anyone ever recommended weight watchers for you, would you like a weight loss management suggestions? And after that, the dentist Dr. Tate, came in and looked at a few teeth and said okay you have a few cavities due to crowding and a treatment plan will be up front for you to schedule your next visit and go over what insurance will cover. I had to make it a point to her that I felt like this process was rushed in the sense that heres your cleaning and checkout. I wanted to know where exactly all my cavities were and which tooth so I could plan to get those taken care of. I mean hello, again I came for TOOTH PAIN. At that point she decided to review some of them on the monitor with me again going over braces being that she also is not an orthodontist because of the crowding. POINT TAKEN. She also prefers long drawned out treatment plans with multiple visits and I explained that I have no problem taking care of these asap in two sessions and in fact its what id prefer and am used to. Nobody has time to keep coming back to the damn dentist multiple times! She then walked me up front to have my next cleaning scheduled before the problem area that I wanted to get fixed!!! I said no cleaning, I just want my cavity fixed. The receptionist was awful. She had her mask down during the entire exchange rubbing her nose looking confused as ever and told me I would have to wait a MONTH before being seen. And then had the nerve to ask me if I was in pain when I said are you serious? She didn’t know what she was doing and then said oh well if you can come in tomorrow theres a cancellation but if not ill add you to a waitlist. I said okay whatever because I couldn’t take off work just like that with no notice. Then had a problem printing me off my entire treatment plan and had to have the other lady help her out and couldn’t even tell me what id be paying and said oh its in the corner of the paper over there. It was an entire mess and now im looking for another damn dentist that will fix my cavity! Please never assume to know someone’s situation in consultation and waste their time and if your schedule is to full too even complete treatment for someone in pain but have time to do cleanings, that should be said when scheduling appointments. No one should have to wait as long as a month!

Yes, you should definitely see a dentist to have that looked at to determine what may be the cause. If you call our office we'd be happy to work you into the schedule to be seen.
