Insane prices for membership. They know there’s no community health investment in our area so they can gouge the community. All in the name of our lord, Jesus Christ, right?? I paid half the price for membership in a more expensive (LA) metro area.

I love love love the YMCA. Only reason I am giving it one star is because of service. I have asked six times now to move the floor cleaner, which smells awful and is huge, out of the mother's lounge so I can access it to feed my baby. They temporarily move the machine each time and I have to wait 5-10 minutes to get someone to come move it. To add on, the mother's lounge is always dirtier everytime I go. It seems to be used as a storage closet and the chairs are always covered in dirt and stains, there is garbage on the floor, and it smells awful. Today the ceiling panels are on the floor. These are not appropriate circumstances to feed a baby, and yet after speaking to six different people on six different occasions nothing has been done about it. When making the decision to feed my baby on the bench by the gym I was instructed to go to the mother's lounge. Please fix this, as I love the Y but hate how I'm being treated.

Love the Y. The Barre class and pilates are my favorite. Yoga instructor s are great too. Open lanes to lap swim, tons of work out equipment. Try the ladder and rope pull super fun.

Always clean and they enforce the mask rule so I feel safe. Their staff is courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. I wish I could afford a membership for myself (right now it's just for my daughter) as other gyms really don't compare.

Whether you are a guest for a day visit or a permanent member, the showers are free to anyone to use at all hours of operation. There are showers in both ground level and upper floor locker rooms. A day pass is $10 but if you are going with a paying member as their guest it's $5.

The cost will be the same as yours
You need to go to the schedule on their website. I believe it's different times daily.

Hi EdChosen. Great question! Based on state guidelines we will not be able to offer our court sports activities at this time. We will keep members informed through our website, email, mobile app and social media as this changes. Please check out available amenities here - https://www.ymcapkc.org/facilities
Yes they do
4:30am to 10pm on weekdays and 6am to 8pm on Saturday and 11am to 7pm on Sunday. Unfortunately the pools are closed September 1st - 22nd for their annual maintenance. When classes are scheduled, the first two lanes are open for free swim, or you can use the deep end of the lanes that classes are taking place in, because the classes are always in the shallow end.
Showers are not available for free if thats what you are inquiring, however if you pay for a day visit you have access to the entire facility which includes the locker rooms which have showers with soap. A day visit is $10 per person, $5 if you are coming with a member.
6 AM-9AM
It goes by your income . Or a public family rate single or senior

The YMCA is a family-friendly place designed for a wide variety of people. Membership is very reasonable for all that they offer. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. You can request a tour when you are ready to check out ask that they have to offer!
No you don’t have to be a member. It will just cost you to sign up.
It depends on the holiday. Sometimes hours are shortened and on other holidays it is closed all together. I'm not sure of the full holiday achedule is posted yet
Depends on the day. Just call and they can tell you.
Call the front desk and ask for help with registration (or go in person).
Best bill I pay every month!!! Bring your last two months pay stubs and checkbook as they deduct the monthly payment from it
