This was a nice campground, but not a lot of privacy. Bathrooms and showers are clean and well kept. The water is beautiful but you can't really swim and the beach is covered in oyster shells and jellyfish. Nice campgrounds, just not my ideal place, no playground.

The best camping site close to Seattle. The ferry runs every two hours and is 15 minutes from the dock. The campsite was a pretty private space and the phone signal was good.

We were the only people camping there along with the camp host. It is a very nice little campground. Not a lot of hiking to do but the hill hike there is a workout.

No fresh water fishing. It is child friendly.
Camp site was shut down when i visited June 12, 2019. Septic? I saw another answer that said something similar from a year ago. Either its shut down for a long time or they have this problem often
It closes at dusk.
Yes for 95% of it. The pier has stairs to the beach on one side that you can't go down. But far left of the parking lot you can go down on low tide to the beach.
Camping has been closed, along with the bathrooms in the camp area, for 2 years now. Bad septic drain field. I doubt it will ever be open for camping again. But they still hire the same amount of helpers for the park? Talk about waste of spending
No, unless you walk in. You need a discover pass for each vehicle. Its $10 a day or $30 a year. The pass is good for all state parks.
During the week... You can check on the. Park Service reservation website....
If my best suggestion would be to go to the ranger station when you enter the park and ask them.
Fees to camp are between $12 - $35 per night. https://www.parks.state.wa.us/166/Camping-fees
The one near the shelter toys is marked closed so only the one on the water front is open now
If you want to park next to the beach, you can. If you want to park up the hill and hike down, you can.
Campground has been closed for a couple years, it's currently having repair work done.
The campground is closed due to drain field issues. Has been closed for two years. The park itself is still open, but they kick everyone out at dusk. No exceptions
No it's not! Campground is closed due to septic issues. You people should do some research before sending someone to a closed campground
I believe that it is. Check the dnr website...
Not a hike but a nice walk in the woods.
During peak season at Washington State parks, you're able to stay up to 10 nights at a time. During off-peak times it is 20 nights. That being said, you're also not allowed to stay at the same park within 3 days of leaving after staying for your allowed amount of time. Also note: You're not allowed to stay at the same park for more than 40 nights in any 60 night time frame.
You have to have a yearly pass to be there which costs $30 i think
I walk through there everyday. It was closed yesterday.
I tent camped for several days. No RV required. Really nice tent pads.
