I reached out for an advocate to attend a meeting for my child to simply express the magnitude that a simple mistake could affect an indivudual with special needs. According to the emails, this center will only allow an advocate if it pertains to an IEP. Nothing more. All I got was resources for an 'Inclusion Project' and not what I specifically requested. In the other email, last I didnt get a response. I felt no kind of support from this organization. Appalling. Disappointing. I will NEVER reach out again. In response: I'd appreciate if someone reached out again as I didn't have all my questions answered per my last email.

Navigating the care of your child with special needs, whether it’s a new or old diagnosis, is damn near impossible to do alone. Utah Parent Center has been our #1 resource for information, services, and support since moving to Utah in 2014. As parents of extraordinary kids, we owe it to ourselves to band together and access the resources available. Your life, and the life of your child, will be better for it!

The Utah Parent Center does not provide job coaching at this time. But if you need assistance in finding someone who does, you can contact us for more information about vocational rehabilitation, community supports and other services and/or referrals.

We don't provide direct services to children. We provide resources, training, and information to parents, individuals, and families impacted by disabilities and special health care needs. We do however utilize volunteers. You can apply on our website through our "About" tab on utahparentcenter.org. We hold events throughout the state.

Can I donate to this center? I have an oxygen concentrator and a cpap machine. If someone could pick them up, I will give them away for free.

I do not believe that they take donations of items such as that, however, Active re-entry might be a good option.
