I came in for a first time evaluation for dental implants and got 1 and for the first time in years I was able to chew on that side of my mouth! It was Literally life-changing and I was so impressed that I got another implant on the other side. After that I got a dental cleaning and found out I had a gum infection so they did a deep clean and gave me my options for a dental plan. I chose 10 veneers on the top because I had Decay that was very bad and I thought this would be the best option and they turned out great. I then decided to get braces on my bottom teeth and are getting my 10 lower teeth veneers as well. Everyone comments about how perfect my teeth look even people who have veneers are very impressed. Dr. Jackson and Mona are very kind and make the dreaded dental experience very easy! Trust me go to her and tell all my friends and family to go to her.

My visit with Dr. Jackson and the staff at Nola Smiles was a visit that I will never ever forget. I was very scared and reluctant to visit a dentist based on previous experiences. Dr. Jackson and her staff made me feel very comfortable by answering my million in one questions, providing information and showing me examples of their work. I was so pleased with the office visit and the professionalism of the staff I immediately schedule an appointment for my procedure. Dr. Jackson and her staff contacted me to follow up with my future appointment, asked if I had any additional questions, called in my medication and provided instructions that I needed to follow prior to my procedure. The day of my procedure, I arrived to the office and was greeted by Dr. Jackson and her staff. They made me feel comfortable and gave me the best care possible. When my procedure was completed I was extremely satisfied with the end result and most of all I had no pain at all. I did not have to take a pain pill. Dr. Jackson and her staff followed up with me after my procedure to check on me and scheduled a post op visit. Dr. Jackson and her staff are the most caring people and are true to their word about caring for her patients. I recommend Dr. Jackson to anyone who needs a dentist in the New Orleans or surrounding area. I can tell you that if I ever move I would fly back to New Orleans to receive services from Nola Smiles. I have been recommending Dr. Jackson to all my friends and family. Thank you Nola Smiles for making me smile again. See you guys soon.

Hi, and thank you for your question! 🙂 While we are not enrolled with Medicaid, we would be happy to assist you if you still need help with your situation. Aside from doing our best to minimize costs to our patients for the excellent services we provide, we also help our patients take advantage of any available out-of-network dental benefits they may have. And since we know that dentistry can still be quite an investment, we do offer no-interest financing through either CareCredit or LendingClub Patient Solutions. We understand though if that's not an option, in which case you can easily find a local dentist enrolled with Medicaid through either DentaQuest or MCNA Dental.
Hi, Rosalind! 😄 Sorry we missed your question at the time you asked, but for anyone else reading this we are indeed open for business and have been since shortly after the pandemic officially started. Very grateful to have served our patients throughout these challenging times and for their trust in us - and thanks for your question, Rosalind!
Hi, and thank you for your question! 🙂 While denture-related questions are very specific to the individual's situation, the most common approach is to provide patients with what is called an "immediate" denture the day when your teeth are removed. This denture will be adjusted frequently as your bone will shrink as you heal, and you will understandably be rather tender as you try to eat with it. Most patients end up getting a 2nd denture once they're done healing to get a better fit, but it's important to remember that dentures are not a true replacement for teeth and that there are lifestyle changes involved. When possible, dental implants can help minimize that adjustment - but we would be happy to assist you if you still need help with your situation. Please feel free to give us a call if you'd like to get started and setup your first visit with our team.
