We stopped by the fountain after the Seafair Torchlight parade. It is super fun for the kids and it is wonderful to just sit and relax.

Happy Late Pride! Always a good time for me and happy that it was for the 2 first timers next to me and my boyfriend. **In case you didn't know, Pride Fest is free to attend. You will only need money if you want to buy food, drinks or souvenirs. Oh, and to pay for parking (either in a garage or to feed the meter if you don't find free street parking) if you choose to drive there.

Huge splash pad, tons of fun. Gets a bit slippery out there so be careful. Bring a towel and change of clothes for the kids. Kids of all ages will love this place and it is right next to a huge playground and the space needle.

Ok, Iβm embarrassed to say that I didnβt know this was here. I lived in Seattle for 6 years, have been away for 3 years, am returning for a visit only to did it for the first time. Itβs been here all along but somehow I missed it. It was a hot summer day, so we suited up to play and go for a splash. π¦ itβs far bigger than I expected. Look at pics - the ppl are dots. Itβs in the shadow of space needle and surrounded by shaded and sunny π spots to sit and chill. Many brought picnic foods. It was a delightful way to spent the afternoon. Hot tip - if you self drive and use the public parking β¦download the app. That way you can come and go and pay flat rate for the day. By using the app, you are paying per your license plate, not the parking spot.

International Fountain is closed to undergo updates and maintenance. As a treasured attraction in Seattle we want to make sure it will be around for years to come. The International Fountain is on schedule to be re-opened at the end of June. Thank you for asking this question.
From my experience, the closer you get to the center, the more soaked you are going to get. Standing on the edges creates a light mist, sitting at the top of the bowl no water at all unless it's caught by a breeze.
Used to be at info booth nearby, but now at the Space Needle.
