We stopped by the fountain after the Seafair Torchlight parade. It is super fun for the kids and it is wonderful to just sit and relax.

Happy Late Pride! Always a good time for me and happy that it was for the 2 first timers next to me and my boyfriend. **In case you didn't know, Pride Fest is free to attend. You will only need money if you want to buy food, drinks or souvenirs. Oh, and to pay for parking (either in a garage or to feed the meter if you don't find free street parking) if you choose to drive there.

Huge splash pad, tons of fun. Gets a bit slippery out there so be careful. Bring a towel and change of clothes for the kids. Kids of all ages will love this place and it is right next to a huge playground and the space needle.

Ok, I’m embarrassed to say that I didn’t know this was here. I lived in Seattle for 6 years, have been away for 3 years, am returning for a visit only to did it for the first time. It’s been here all along but somehow I missed it. It was a hot summer day, so we suited up to play and go for a splash. 💦 it’s far bigger than I expected. Look at pics - the ppl are dots. It’s in the shadow of space needle and surrounded by shaded and sunny 🌞 spots to sit and chill. Many brought picnic foods. It was a delightful way to spent the afternoon. Hot tip - if you self drive and use the public parking …download the app. That way you can come and go and pay flat rate for the day. By using the app, you are paying per your license plate, not the parking spot.
