I was very nervous about needing to board my little doxie for the first time, but they made me feel so comfortable about leaving him in their care. You can tell they really care about the animals. I especially enjoyed getting report cards with photos letting me know how he was doing. I would absolutely use them again.

I dropped off my miniature dachshund for 5 days at Mary’s bed and biscuit while on vacation. We were recommended Mary’s because of the daily reports back on their behavior/ how they were feeling. The place is decorated extremely cute and the prices are not bad at all. They include extra activity’s for the dogs like breakfast, playroom, nightly walks, etc. We ended up receiving 2 reports back on our dog the entire time stating she was doing great, eating great, and using the restroom like normal. Fast forward to the day we come to pick her up… she was completely lethargic, we received her food back… (we left a gallon ziplock) and for five days the bag was barely touched. She was not eating nor drinking, had bad diarrhea, and was shaking uncontrollably. She would not come around us and we truly thought our dog was not going to make it. We bring her to the vet the following morning after picking her up. They kept her on iv and gave her medication for home. The next day rolls around and she is WORSE. So we bring her to the vet (they kept her all day) and this time I call the boarding institute. We were informed just then and there by an employee that the day before we picked her up she had not eaten much of her food and had diarrhea. There was no issue in that except we were never informed and were also mislead by her report card that said all was fine. The manager kim gave me a call and basically said any vet bills they would not incur because of not being able to prove the dog got sick there… 800$$$ later our baby is finally feeling better. My disappointment comes from a manager saying they would AT LEAST issue a refund & it’s been 3 weeks almost no word back nor refund. I really wanted to love this place but communication & professionalism is very important when dropping off a pet for an extensive amount of time. Like most of us our pet isn’t just a pet, it’s family. I didn’t want to have to write a bad review but I feel like it came to a point that the business just did not care. I was also told by the manager that Roxie had ate fine and was using the bathroom fine where as the employee I spoke to told me otherwise. Just not a pleasant experience for us at all.

After months of trying to contain my dog's shedding, I decided to enlist the help of Mary's Bed & Biscuit, and they did a remarkable job with grooming CoCo! She barely sheds after being groomed, so i started a 6 week schedule. Not to mention the staff....... they are amazing, and my baby loves going to see them!
