Fantastic ski mountain and village that lives up to it's reputation. Beautiful upscale village perfect for shopping and just exploring. Service at every turn from shops to restaurants to resort personnel was impeccable.

Great mountain for beginners. They have 3 separate beginner areas (Haymeadow, Red Buffalo Park, and McCoy Park). McCoy is AWESOME, it's a bowl with lots of varied terrain and you can really make each run your own -even as a beginner). And of course, the village is super cute (though overpriced).

So many reasons to give Beaver Creek 5 stars: Outstanding resort infrastructure - parking & shuttles, lift ticket windows, benches, comfortable chairs & fireplaces Friendly staff offering information & directions, in the village and on the mountain Great lifts plus a gondola, extremely conscientious lift operators. Phenomenal trails, terrain, variety and conditions. Every afternoon at 3 PM - delicious chocolate chip cookies, fresh out of the oven

Beaver Creek which is actually the sister resort of Vail is my favorite place to ski out of all the I-70 resorts. The terrain has something for everyone and while Beaver Creek is known for it's groomed runs they have some of the best mogul skiing that you will ever see. The tree skiing is also varied and amazing as well. I never wait anymore than 10 minutes in a line over a holiday weekend but most times you never wait at all. I'd say Deer Valley would be the closest competitor to Beaver Creek if you are looking for an over the top pampered type of ski experience. Personally I'd choose Beaver Creek every time. The resort has a very nice village at the base with lots of great shops and restaurants. Deer Valley doesn't have a village, Park City is a good 10 to 15 minutes away for all of that stuff. I also like Beaver Creek's terrain much better. I couldn't recommend a trip there highly enough!

Edward is correct. Although at this time of year the discount will be limited. In B/C head up the escalator above Beaver Creek sports. Get off at the first stop. The main ticket office is on your left.
Only Free parking if your staying in Beaver Creek. You can take the gondola up from the Westin in town then ride the bus or ski or snowboard from there.
Cost of Epic is around $85 per person (probably higher). I always rent a car in Denver for around $300 and then I have the flexibility. Parking can be a pain, but I like the flexibility. What you give up in savings is offset by loss of flexibility. Public transport (of which I am a big fan of) is good in Avon, but to go to Vail or Breckenridge you have to plan your day around their transport times.
Yes, you should find in beavercreek website. At least 24 hours earlier
That is the plan. They will probably have more runs open then usual since they are not having Birds of Prey this year.
