This place was great!! After reading reviews, I came here to get oysters for my brother's birthday. He LOVES oysters. He travels quite a bit and has tried a good variety of oysters. I on the other hand am not a fan and had no idea what I was looking for. A young man (employee) came over and helped me out. He was VERY nice and helped me pick out a dozen. My brother told me those were probably the best oysters he has ever had! Wanted to know the details of where I got them (which I gladly shared). Thank you for helping make my brother's day! Now I know where to buy/recommend oysters for others. On a side note, I didn't buy any but was salivating looking at the tuna they had. This seems like a great spot to get seafood with very nice, helpful customer service. Very much recommend!

Straight forward, no frills seafood market. I've gotten frozen and fresh crab as well as many other items such as clams and mussels, and they haven't disappointed. Probably the most reasonably priced seafood market for the quality in the area.

A little more expensive compared to a generic grocery store nearby but you are paying for quality, expertise & cleanliness. These folks know their seafood and have an incredible selection. Best salmon filet I’ve had since friends caught some fresh. I won’t buy seafood anywhere else now.

Mutual Fish Company has been serving our Community for many, many years. The service has been consistant and genuine throughout my 5O+ years of patronage for myself, Grandparents, parents, family and friends. I love the spirit of warm, friendly, smiley faces when I walk through the doors, and the awesome display of delicious fish and seafood. The staff continue to be committed to taking time to give the best service to each customer. Thank you for providing the best fish and awesome service. #grateful

Questions & Answers

This is our go-to fish market. Tried calling today. Got no answer. Are they open these days? Is it possible to order ahead & do low-contact pick-up? How, if they are not answering their phone?

The handwritten sign in their parking lot indicates that they are open on Wednesdays, but hours are not listed.

Blue crabs are native to the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico. I'm unaware of any fishmonger in Seattle selling them.

No. Dungeness Crab. Sometimes soft shell but not mature Blue. Curious, why Blue Crab? A lot of work for very little return relative to a Dungeness.

Yes

1. Do they sell live geoduck and razor clams? 2. What about topneck or cherrystone clams that are good enough to be eaten raw?

Mutual Fish typically has manila clams & a nice variety of live oysters. The only place I see typically cherry stone clams is at the Asian grocery store in Ranch 98 in Renton.
