Love the store and the selection. It's a little hole-in-the-wall place. A lot of drugs and other illegal activity going on around the property. Tons of homeless hanging around. But I still love this place. Lots of great stuff you can't find at any other Asian markets.

The first Lam market is in Chinatown, and the second one is in Tukwila. There are some cons I want to point out in this location. It is so SMALL market, dirty, and unorganized. I understand it is hard to find an excellent and adjacent spot in Chinatown. There is a variety of Asian food, and the quality is between average and good. I have heard someone complain about the rotten fruit. Also, there is plenty of parking, so you don't need to worry about this. The staff is quite friendly. I hope the Lam management can consider redesigning the market to serve their customers better

I love this store. They may not have as varied a selection as bigger markets but they have a lot. But the real reason I'm so fond of Lam's Seafood is this: it's one of a very few businesses where I can't remember ever having been treated in an unfriendly manner by any employee. And Kihn! I have a hard time imagining seeing her in a bad mood. I have no doubt it's happened, but my experience is she is always friendly when interacting not only with customers but also her coworkers. I think that has more than a little to do with the business's overall friendly atmosphere. They could charge twice as much (fear not--they don't) as a certain other Asian market that's nearby and a bigger store, and I'd still rather patronize Lam's because I cannot say of that other store all the nice things I've said about this one.

Great Asian market with a lot more than just amazing fresh live seafood! A good place to get less common asian fruits and veg at a reasonable price.

Yes
As of 4 June 18, they did have spot prawns, but like @Van Hong said they are seasonal.
All shrimps sell there are previously frozen. Live prawns mostly are spot shrimps local catch but seasonal only.
Of course
Everyone wearing mask and they are trying to sanitize often that I have seen when I come late evenings. They have face shield for checkout/store but a super busy asian market like this is crowded during times
Hello Sorry not at our Seattle location At our Tukwila location, you will find our food court, Lam's Eatery. One of the restaurants there called GOLDEN DAISY have roasted pork, ducks, and many other goodies. 17348 Southcenter Parkway
I believe so
Hi Judith Yes we do. Lots of them. :)
Not often.
Not sure. For that specific item you have to call them and ask. I don’t know the answer to that question.
Sometimes not all the time, best to call them before you go there.
My understanding is that cities are likely to turn parking areas into parks.
Yes
I only know about the one on 12th King
Yes, $9.99 per lb
I would call about this but, I'm skeptical that they would have sushi grade here
