This place was amazing, so many flowers, ferns, smells and trails. I loved it here. If you are a fan of botanical gardens and unique plants this is the place for you.

Heronswood is a northwest treasure of man's creative influence. This is a must see garden to inspire gardeners of any ability. You will not be disappointed.

What a fantastic garden! Lovely winding paths through open and tree-covered spaces. A large area in the back of the property that's packed with tulips & smells heavenly! Knowledgeable staff/volunteers. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

Wow! Unbelievably beautiful gardens and well worth the cost of admission. Everything is so meticulously maintained and we loved the huge variety of plants. We were lucky enough to visit in the spring when so many flowers were blooming but I'm sure it's always lovely.

If you have a photo of the flower a plant search app may be able to help but without an image it's difficult to say what it is
Hi Denis, you can take photos of our plants and gardens. We only ask that commercial photographers ask permission before shooting. We also forbid tripods and drones
We do not, however there are several places to get coffee within five minutes of the garden
We are no longer a retail nursery and don’t sell plants. We’re a botanical garden only
No.
Heronswood is more of an "exotic" or hard-to-find place. You should be able to find a paperbark birch, for a reasonable price, from another nursery. Let me know if you need some suggestions.
Most Hellebores are grown in colder zones and while they may live, they might not thrive. They also bloom during winter naturally when temperatures are quite cold, popping up through the snow. I don’t know if this lack of cold would keep them from blooming. There may be some variety less sensitive to cold.
