Divorce mediators meet with both spouses at the same time to create a safe place for understanding and discussion. We also facilitate communication between parties, provide information about the legal system and legal process, identify all options for your divorce, and comes to an agreement where BOTH spouses are satisfied with the settlement.
Yes! In divorce mediation, you work together as a team - you, your spouse, and the attorney mediation. In a mediated divorce, other professionals are brought on board as needed to enable the divorcing couple to reach clarity and understanding.
Typical co-mediation consists of a series of meetings (usually 2 hours for each meeting) with divorce mediators to discuss the process of mediation, draft paperwork on your behalf, discuss child custody, understanding your own needs, and understanding the needs of your children.
There are a lot of components to a divorce, and it can be overwhelming when attempting to resolve each of the issues without a third party. We step in to provide help and support for you and your family during this stressful time.
