I went to Pep Boys on or about October 7, 2022 to have my 2008 Honda Pilot inspection done. The young man from the continent told me that it would fail because the engine light was on. I told him it was similarly on the prior year when the technician advised that he could resolve the issue and did in fact do so and the car successfully passed the inspection. He rudely and coldly stated that I had to pay to have the car diagnosed to determine the problem and opt to repair or not. I took my car to my mechanic who diagnosed and told me that the car needed some work however he would reset so inspection could be done and to return the car for repair at a later date. I took the car back to Pep Boy on Sunday morning, October 9, 2022. The said young man came in minutes before the store was due to be opened and immediately rudely told me that the store wasn't opened and to wait from before the store. I asked him why I had to remove and couldn't wait with less than minutes for the store to open for which he had no response. He in fact opened the door minutes after the appointed time and commented on me bringing in the car days earlier with the engine light on the dashboard. Upon paying for the inspection I wasn't informed that the inspection had failed and thought nothing more of it until I came home today, October 30, 2022 and saw a ticket posted to my dashboard wherein upon checking same it noted that my inspection was expired and realized for the first time what likely transpired. This person deliberately and maliciously made the decision to have my inspection failed and didn't deem it fit to at a minimum notify this elderly widowed senior citizen of this. As a long standing customer of this Pep Boys since it opened at said location of the former Strauss I will no longer I have been servicing my car at this location for many years even before it was Pep Boys and was Strauss and have never had such unprofessional, disrespectful and ingenuine service encounter and as such will never appear for any service at this business again and will advise all family, associates and friends to do likewise. A -ZERO ought to be an option as this warrants same. SHAME SHAME SHAME on you PEP BOYS for having such a crude person on your staff servicing the public you ought to be committed to giving the highest quality service in order to earn and maintain their trust.

My rim was either bent or they bent it installing the tire and did not inform me. It wasn’t until the next day I found out and the tire was completely flat. I returned and they refused to admit their mistake. I won’t return and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else use this location.

They charged 10bucks for reset maintenance display,but they didn't t do it!!!!! I have to go back ask money back.they let me wait until end of the day!!!!their attitudes are really bad rude.

I would make sure that they don't get another penny from me again, they would have to fix it says their cost, not mine. That's the right thing to do. All to speak to a "Manager", "Boss", "Chief Mechanic".
I took my car with the AC in perfect conditions they claim that the filter neededed to be changed so they changed it and when I took my car back the Ac was making a weird noise I made a complaint and they said they weren't responsible for that, this is the worst place to go for a car maintenance, this is the last time I make business with this ruin company, I totally do not recommend this company, trash
