My friend from New Jersey really loved it. Luckily, we were there fairly early in the morning on Sat. I highly encourage you to do everything you can to visit Mon -Thurs or early on the weekends. The little one mile hike actually requires some work to come back up. Take your time and really notice your environment as there's so much to see on the way down and up.

I have no words for describing the beauty of this place. It is soothing and an incredible nature masterpiece to admire. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was not very crowded, parking was available and we were able to take the hike to the river and see the waterfall itself right in front of us. This place is a must go if you want a scenic view.

Beautiful location and easily accessible by car. I definitely recommend! There area couple parking lots that service this location. One lot is right in front of the park but you need to pay. The other lot is across the street and I believe it's free. You can then access the park across the road via a pedestrian bridge. Above the falls is a look out area that also has information about the falls and it's hydro electric systems. You can also get some pretty spectacular pictures as well. The bottom area of the falls is accessible with a hiking trail. You should bring appropriate shoes because it can get a little muddy if it's been wet out. The hike down is easy but remember it's all uphill on the way back! Next door to the falls is the Salish Lodge restaurant. It has really tasty breakfast and brunch/lunch options. Recommended you make a reservation and be prepared, it's a bit more expensive than your usual breakfast place.

The falls are absolutely gorgeous and raging right now. We were soaked because of the massive spray, but it was lovely. This is not a hike though if you are hoping to hike, but there are smalll trails around the area. You can park across the street for free and there are multiple lots over there. Be sure you go out to the second viewpoint to see the falls from a different angle.

I've seen alot of birds and heard of a bear once in the area but that's about it
planning to go in two weeks is it hard to get to the waterfall with kids? How far is it?
Yes, they are open in winter too
yes if ur up to the walk down n up the hill but if not u can always view the falls up top
You are tag as a local guide and you asking if it is open ?
30-40 minutes drive from Seattle
There's no sign for pets not allowed. Will be beneficial if on leash. Don't miss the trail
To add to the details provided the path is divided along the route by viewing platforms that have at least 1 step so wheelchair access is a bit challenging. The lower most level cannot be accessed by wheelchair as it requires scampering over rocks and boulders. One can sit at the entrance to the beach area to admire the water though.
Yes. It will be open. Holiday people will be out
No swimming. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Be prepared to pick up the dog poo.
Still dawn until dusk. However, the Puget Sound Snowqualmie Hydro-electric museum and park will be closed.
No tour necessary. The area isn't really that large, but it is beautiful!
