The museum is nice and it has old artifacts and items from when it was built. It also had some stories to tell which really intrigued us. We didn't get a chance to ride the train but we explored the place and read the history of it. It's definitely one of the great stops you can take at the town. Parking is plentiful you just have to be lucky to get a close one to the town or have to walk for a bit.

We did the day out with Thomas today & had a blast. Thanks for hosting this wonderful event.

A hundred years back in time 🚂Appreciate the hard work of the staff, burning firewood and replenishing water. Check the time table before u go! Don't expect the seats to be very comfortable. Understanding the history of the American railroad has always been about transporting agricultural products, pigs, cows, oranges, and apples. Compared with European and Japanese passenger transport, the United States is underdeveloped

Nice historic place in the downtown with old train engines parked here, kids can enjoy the view of the train engines, you can spend 30 to 40 minutes here. My kid enjoyed seeing the large train engines, also there is a room where toy trains are kept for kids, outside you can see good fall colors as well. Parking lot is right opposite the museum on the road side itself.

You should contact the museum directly 😊
Not too difficult.. they provide a wooden step stool to stand on it and get into the train
They have a little model laid out, but it's more for show
Go online northwest railway fall city and look for website and pick the day you want
Look on their website. I believe you can buy them online and print them or have the email to present day of the trip
Sorry, no pets allowed. Though we love animals, historic trains can be a scary place for many animals and can have surfaces not ideal for paw safety.
They do have restrooms in the main pavilion, if you're taking a ride its about 90 minutes and I'm not sure if there is a restroom on the train. During covid they do not want you moving around the train and do not let you move between cars.
There is no charge for admission to the general grounds. There is an entrance fee to the railway history center and the Train Rides. The only pricing I've seen is for adults and children. No additional discounts that I'm aware of.
A visit to the Snoqualmie Depot at 38625 SE King Street is free as are the outdoor exhibits. Train excursions require a ticket, typically $20 for adults & $10 for children. The Train Shed exhibit building at 9320 Stone Quarry Road has an admission fee of $10 for adults and $5 for children; the building is open Thursday - Sunday, April - October. Most train excursions include a visit to the Train Shed. There are a variety of special events throughout the year, too. Prices and times vary; most programs have a seniors discount too. Please visit the main web site at www.TrainMuseum.org for more information. Thank you for your interest.
Sorry, the Museum's train is not set up to accommodate dogs.
