You can usually pay a fine for speeding. You would have to call the courts and talk to the clerk to see if there is a set amount to pay. Or you may be able to hire an attorney local to Southwest Virginia that can appear before the court on your behalf, they would enter your plea, .. ie, guilty, not guilty, or no contest. False. Reckless is a serious offense. At that speed you can get it reduced to simple speeding more often than not but as a reckless you could be looking at anywhere from 500 to 2000 or license suspension up to one year. Yours most likely will be reduced to simple speed however and you can expect to pay significantly less but there is no way to promise that. Honestly, get a lawyer as reckless driving is equal in weight to a dui.
