I received LASIK from SharpeVision in Sept 2020. It continues to negatively affect my productivity/ability to work. My eyes are still light sensitive, and thus I can't look at screens as long as I used to. Their procedure also split my vision so I can't see focused faces or recognize people at a distance of 30 feet or greater. This is dangerous and uncomfortable to go on walks or be in public spaces without glasses that an outside optometrist recommended. I lost my ability to see at night, including driving. LASIK gave me a dry eye condition, and my eyes are often a source of pain and migraines. I found Hydroeye vitamens, and that helps the pain enough to function better without hourly eyedrops. I had to quit my job and look for one that was 40 hours a week, instead of 50-65 hrs/week after this surgery, due to decreased ability to read on computer screens. I would like to get a MS degree, but fear my eye functionality is too limiting. Also after LASIK, I also can't see at night. I still wear glasses due to focusing problems. The optometrist at SharpeVision told me my vision is 20/20, and wouldn't talk about LASIK4LIFE I had paid for. She refused to explain what happened to my eyes during surgery to leave them in this state. I fell into a long depression after surgery. Please do additional homework into LASIK, it is not safe for all customers and should not be FDA approved.

I was very nervous leading up to my Lasik appointment. Everyone was very helpful and explained everything so well. The procedure went so smooth and it was over quicker than I expected! Recovery time wasn’t bad at all either! I’ll recommend them to anyone looking to get Lasik!

Sharpe vision and Dr. Lancaster are amazing. I just had my surgery yesterday and am very happy so far. The team was super efficient, supportive, and kind. No regrets. 10/10

Hello. I am a male patient with floaters in both eyes that block my vision a lot. Thinking you are a candidate for laser treatment. Is laser procedure covered by insurance? Thanks for your reply.

Hi Jose, thank you for your message, for this treatment we do not accept insurance and the cost is $ 1749 per eye including 3 treatments. We have financing for 24 months without interest. We are at your service at 512-596-2020 and ask for Jesse. We are under your command. Thanks, Jesse @SharpeVision

Good question. We can treat a patient with Type II DM as long as you meet certain criteria. We determine eligibility at your consultation and will happily go over all of that with you!
