Audio Appointments get no reminder. They will call you and tell you your late for your appointment but will not give you a heads up the day before. I had the wrong time down in my calendar (my fault) and missed a call apparently asking if i was at my appointment. Little late but I jumped in the car and headed out. calling along the way and on hold the entire drive. I pulled into the parking lot 35 min late and walked in and was told sorry we cannot see you you have to reschedule. They never asked my concern or even just to do a look in my ears, These appointments are likely scheduled every hour which would mean there should be at least a 10 to 15 min window to fit me into. This is the 2nd appointment I missed the first I had to schedule a couple months out and received a you missed your appointment letter 5 days after the appointment. I guess Government employees don't need to have a customer first mentality.. Job Security. I have served and continue to serve in the Army National Guard for 33 years and counting, civilian side I work in customer service and am considered elite in my field for quality of service. To experience this from people which have likely never served or sacrificed years away from the safety of home and family to protect our way of life is disheartening to say the least. I guess I will have to reschedule again, Ironically enough I have sat in that waiting area for longer than 40 min after my appointment and that is just expected.

So very disappointing this place. I called this morning to get a long over do, 2 month appt. which was cancelled by VA 2 months ago and the appointment clerk immediately rattled off, well, what kind of appointment do you need because you're not due til OCT and if this is not an emergency or just a routine follow up.... Now, I am not feeling the care or justification for this right from the beginning here. First, had she really been looking at my profile it should have indicated cancelled appt. by provider and unable to reach but no, lets put this back on the VET... Secondly, I left a message for the provider to please contact me on my pain medication. A simple motrin request. No call back-2 months already, really. Over the counter I have to take more and not as dependable as my 800 motrins, ok An injured finger, 2 weeks didnt want to bother any clinic about it until it seem to not be healing. So now my booked appointment online, cancelled late Friday after hours, of course, cancelled for today. Today, 17 May 2022 call to get that appointment and finally my motrin for daily pain and I am face with an attitude of, well if this isn't an emergency or its just routine because she informed me of my appointment in October already... What in the world is happening here?Booked online and cancelled by VA. I returned to VA again because I was tired of not getting thehelp I needed in the civilian sector. Nothing is different in civilian providers except appointments are followed up by email, phone etc but reachable. Not here, cancelled, blown off or just not managed. Hire more folks but to blow off VETs like their issue is not an issue to you

Never answer the phone for scheduling an appointment and when they do it hangs up abruptly on occasion. And T. Rodgers is the absolute worst mental health prescriber. She will not listen to what you have to say and has no sympathy for any veteran.

Can the clinic fill prescriptions?

No, we send Rx to Columbia via computer and it is Fed ex’d to veteran. If it is an emergency RX situation we can send to local pharmacy with a 7-10 day fill

I receive Omeprazole from the VA. My provider is Yost, G. The Rx # is 30500680. There are no more refills on this prescription. How do I obtain refills of this medication? Respectfully, Steve Sprague 1stSgt USMC (Ret)

Look at your RX number call the VA. Number that should be on your bottle and use the automated service. Should be easy.
