Had a wonderful meal at The Smoke Pit in Gastonia. Our server Deby was the absolute best!!! She was so friendly and patient especially with our very active toddler. We ordered a ton of extra food to go on top of our dining in food. Everything was delicious and we definitely sampled half the menu!! Huge portions and very tasty. I loved the burnt ends and the collard greens but everything else I tried was very good too. My whole family really enjoyed their food.Thank you Deby for accommodating our many requests and making our experience great!

The food was DELICIOUS.. The service IMPECCABLE.. my only complaint is I couldn’t eat it all LOL! I can’t wait to dine there again!

Well we wanted to try it. Came in super hungry. They told us they were short staffed and it should be 10-15 min. One lady was seated immediately (also party of 2). We waited 24 min they were not sitting anyone else down. We were the first in line. No one in sight. Wish they would have told us in the first place the wait would be 25-30 min. We would not have stayed. We left disappointed we wasted our time and now are even hungrier.
