You don't need to test furniture and rugs for Shatnez. The hallacha of Shatnez only applies to clothing.

2 weeks ago i tested a LANDS END jacket. It was shatnez free.
It has to be returned for a damage and they are replacing it with the same item (jacket/color/size).
Does the replacement need to be checked as well, or does a chazaka apply?

i bought a pair of wool pants form Lands end for $ 39.00 it says made in China - do they need to be tested ?
