I filled out papers to see if I qualified before I got a appointment with a doctor.
It is usually free(according to Becky who works at citgo, offf Brevard; THANKS BECKY :-))
If I'm not mistaken they are Monday-Friday, first come first serve when they open at 6 or 7am. It's an emergency clinic so they will do a small exam to identify to problem and make later appointments to have the problem treated or fixed. Make sure to keep your appointments and they will take very good care of you! I've had multiple visits, fillings and extractions that I otherwise couldn't afford for years. So grateful for the clinic!
They can't handle covering 100 counties, just our area county which is buncombe
Don’t quote me but I don’t think so. Everything changed with Covid.
It's very hard to get in their dental. They see 8 patients a day for emergency dental. If you get there by 6am to sign in with security, you will be seen if you're one of the 8 people. And they do it on a sliding scale, and if you don't have the money up front, they will bill you
https://www.wncchs.org/telehealth You would need to be scheduled for an appointment.
Telehealth appointments are available.
Sure you will have to go in and fill the form out and they will talk to you about it I think the person you take in will get help good luck
I don't believe they do..
No, Mission Hospital for emergency
Yes for a new patient we offer appointments. Once care is established we do have same day walk in appointments available.
WNCCHS does not have a limit on income in order to be seen. All patients are invited to apply for our sliding fee discount program which is based on income and number of persons in the household. We accept Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial insurance. Patients with commercial insurance are also encouraged to apply for the sliding fee discount program. We welcome everyone who would like to receive their care here at WNCCHS.
We do have a patient portal but is not active currently. We plan to reactivate the portal in 2020 so please stay tune.
No it should be free
No. Must live in county and they do not mail meds.
Monday - Friday 8 - 5
I was on the waiting list for over a year and on project access at the time I was told I had to pay a one time fee and it would be on a sliding scale thereafter for each visit and I was applying for disability at that time with no income,so needless to say my teeth are still bad another year later
I think you must be a permanent resident of buncombe county otherwise they'd be treating the whole US .show driver's liscense I think.
They dont do emergency medical unless you are a pt and go to the walkin Clinic
I'm dibetic, the only counseling that I have received is from my doctor, I'm not sure if they have it, it's never been offered to me.
