Great atmosphere and beers for watching live bands.

Cool venue. Easy going staff, plenty of space to enjoy the show, and good shows coming through all the time. We saw SDRE, and loved it.

Originally planned a trip to see Coheed & Cambria here (as my first visit) but pandemic got in the way. I donated the ticket refund back to the venue trusting this was a place that needed to be saved. That decision was well worth it.
Finally rescheduled a trip to see a sold out Metric show. And it was AWESOME!! Venue is fantastic, staff is friendly, and the show sounded great. A really nice open floor layout compared to most of the converted theaters I’ve been to. When back in Asheville I’ll definitely check to see what shows are there.
History of the Orange Peel. When I was very young in the 70's and living in Asheville, we use to go to a club called the Orange Peel. A lot of up and coming black groups would play there. Is this the same place?

My husband and I are attending a show on March 3rd. We are required to have a neg Covid test within 24 h if we have not been vaccinated. Will one of the home tests suffice since we cannot locate a facility to schedule a test without symptoms?

says on site it cant be a home test. it can be a rapid test but only if done at a dr. / pharm.
Upstairs they do not. But even downstairs they are super limited in what they can do. If you are looking for a specific mixed drink there is a pretty good chance they are going to tell you no.
They do allow under 21. They check ID at the door, and will just mark their hands since there is a bar. It will depend on the concert though. I've seen a lot of high school aged kids, but nothing much younger.
