Seriously a horrible company. I scheduled a ride for 11:59 pm. As I left Charlotte, I checked the app and it said 12:59 am. I took a screen shot of my res. Anyway, when I discovered the error I called and was ripped a new one by a sultry, rude person on the phone. Quite hostile actually. Find someone else if you care about service.

**UPDATE** I am updating this review because I believe it is fair after getting the situation settled. AVL Taxi's messaging software was misfunctioning that day, and my concerns that morning via chat and later on via email were never received. I am updating to 4 stars because despite a proper response once they were aware of the situation, it is still a little concerning that despite it being an unfortunate error that this happened. In any kind of emergency when it comes to a taxi/rideshare service, someone has to be reachable. It can leave both sides liable to either injury, or a lawsuit. ~~~ Asheville Taxi Co does not seem to care about rider safety, which is very alarming. I contacted them about a ride I had to the airport with their "taxi" service where I could have died, the driver was driving so erratically. I think the only reason we did not wreck during that trip was because it was 5:30am and there were not many other cars on the road. The driver would drive on the wrong side of the road, and kept almost crashing into the side of the road. Once again, I contacted them, and have yet to receive an answer despite this trip happening quite some time ago. I am not sure why an inquiry about customer/rider safety would go ignored for so long, leading me to believe that safety is not a priority. Besides the glaring safety concerns, the service is just all-around bad. I scheduled a ride in advance for 5:00am because I had an early flight, the driver did not show up until nearly 5:30am. And when he did finally show up, I had to endure that awful ride. I recognize that taxi/rideshare service is limited in small places like Asheville, but this is so below a basic standard of service that any rideshare company should be held up to. It is only a matter of time until a rider is seriously injured or worse if they are not properly vetting their drivers.
