I was never much of an athlete before, but this place changed everything for me. It's the BEST workout, for your body and mind. The classes are challenging, but instructors and students are super supportive and encouraging. There are also a lot of different types of classes you can take, so you never get bored.

I started out with the free Women's self defense class and it was a great workout and I learned so much that I decided to keep coming. The martial arts school really works as a family where everyone encourages each other to succeed in every part of life. It is so worth it to gain empowerment, strength, and discipline. I appreciate everyone there!

Awareness on protecting yourself Women's Smash Classes are EXCELLENT and they are FREE. I dropped in as suggested by a friend and I wasn't disappointed. Maybe out of shape a little as they have you warm up before class which is definitely a work out. The on hand techniques that are shown are always described in full detailed by the one and only...head of the Academy. His stories and insight never cease to amaze me but it's all for a reason. It's life and you need to be aware of how to protect yourself. I'm glad I've taken several classes and was able to share what I've learned to my female co workers with a sense that taking action and educating is the key to protection. I've enjoyed my time there although I'm not able to attend more classes currently...what I've learned will go a long way. Thank you to all the instructors and helpers you made me a more stronger and aware person. AKA Joy Daniel.
