Very rude executive director. I don’t think they actually want to adopt animals out. They ask very intrusive questions about everything that’s none of their business. The other staff there are extremely nice and helpful. They need to get a new director who has an idea how to be kind to others. Go to Freeman Frits or Boerne City animal shelter. Both treated us with kindness while asking the relevant questions.

The animals, i only looked at dogs, were in cages but they can exit the back of them to enter a large free-run area. I didn't see any problem. All those dogs together would = a big fight. Everythibg was clean (for dogs) and good airflow, etcetera.

The Humane society is over capacity at the moment and isn't accepting any new animals at this time. Also, you need to take your pet to a vet clinic, the Humane society doesn't have veterinary services on site, so therefore they cannot assist you with medical treatment or services. You need to call around to surrounding vet clinics to check prices.
