My favorite gardening place. Always fun activities, including a fall festival.

If you got a question on anything, they have someone who can help you. They are very nice people that work there.

We’ve been going for years and love it, great selection and very sweet employees. Our kids love going during the fall! They have an insane selection of pumpkins, tons of cute fall photo set ups, a spooky maze for kids, & train rides during the weekends. So much fun!

Did they shut down? I tried all phone lines and no one answers. Was it corona related?
They had a bunch yesterday when I left at 4:30.

I Don't Think So.
Good question..
I believe they do but best to call and confirm.... they will also put them on hold for you if needed

I don't work there sorry
If possible it's best if you go in person and look they are very busy and difficult to find the answers on the phone but they are helpful when you get there.
They had several Mountain Laurel's the day we went and some were big and very pretty. I'm not sure about single trunk though I didn't pay attention since that wasn't why we were there. Nice place and nice staff.
I don't know ... please call
They typically don't answer. They're open and busy, just go by. If you can't make it then oh well
They really don't provide that service but there are many companies that do. You just have to decide if you want organic or synthetic solutions.
Yes
Yes, masks are required.

They did when I was there last week.

Yes I think so ,you might want to call and check.

Here in Texas the answer is most likely yes.
Proper trimming of crape myrtle trees is just trimming off last years seed pods like a hair cut. This will help generate new growth for better blooming in the summer. No pruning spray is needed for this tree.
Around October o was told that Millburgers nursery has that product. I do not know of the price.
We have many new redbud trees in stock now. Texas, Forest Pansy, Rising Sun, Merot, and Mexican redbuds in different sizes.
240$ 500 square feet
Thanks. Arbor Day foundation gave me 5 redbud, 5 dogwood and 2 crepe myrtle for a donation. Where is the closest that dogwood would do well?
Maria Hernandez, Confederate Jasmine vine blooms for just about 2 months in spring and tolerates our high PH soils, it is very easy to grow and keep trimmed. Gardenias, depending on variety, can bloom later in spring and again mid summer and fall however they are fussy plants that only want acid soil and evenly, moderate moisture, they also want only morning sun 4 to 6 hours and afternoon shade here in San Antonio, special acid food, no saucers with water under the pot, and they can get hurt in hard freezes. I like to call these gardenias and plants like them "Pets in Pots". If you work at adjusting the soil in the ground by composting, adding sand if soil is heavy, also feeding the gardenias regularly you can possibly keep them in the ground but the soil must drain well. I also enjoy the beauty of gardenias but they are not beginner plants. There might be better choices that will work for you at Miberger Nursery. Come in and talk to Mary, Adam, Roger, Nyellie, or Judy for help.
We just recently received Arctic Frost Satsuma trained up tall for only $44.99 each in a 5 gallon pot, the same price as the smaller bushy Arctic Frost satsumas. There are still about 7 in stock. Beautiful trees!
Del's Grass on 1604 near Culebra will sell by the piece. I just replaced a St. Augustine yard with Zoysia, starting with a pallet, then filling in as needed. $2/pc, but the loaders usually toss in a few extra at no charge.
We have air plants in stock now in our greenhouse for $29.99, about 4 different varieties.
It gets busy at the regesters with customers but if you keep calling we will pick up as soon as we can.
Please call
Give them a call please

When new grass grows tall enough to mow! Check on TAMU web site enter type of sod and look for proper mowing height. Only fertilize new lawn after you have given 2 to three mowings to avoid burning new roots.
Please call during business hours to speak with a professional.
Current Zoysia prices on 6 varieties are $240.00 for one pallet. Delivery charge is $85.00 within 30 miles from Milberger Nursery. Check out web site Milbergersa.com for retail grass price list.
On Tuesdays
They carry a lot of inventory. But better to call first and check.
Yes, I just bought one. The price varies by size. The smallest ones they had were $25. They go up to $125+. It depends on the size of the pot.
They have many flowering plants that can be planted now at Milbergers
can lay down St. Augustine sod anytime when the soil isn't frozen, but it will be more successful in hotter weather."
Other poster likely has a point about hill country temps. Ours was already long dead (see below) by the time of the Houston area's two ~25° freezes of 2017. Otherwise my answer was --> In Houston I believe we killed the beautiful young avacado plant our neighbor gave us by planting in an almost flat bed where it was actually in a flat or slightly depressed spot and therefore sat in too much water. So, to me it sounds like your soil over rocks (Really solid? I was picturing a, by shovel or whatever, impenetrable layer of small to medium sized rocks) is fine, as I imagine it drains well. We get lots of rain so make sure it gets required water too though. Not a pro, just my two cents / theory.
Not really a pumpkin patch. They do have some staged areas for photos
