Place is terrible! I came in with chest pains and waited 25 min to be seen. Was finally admitted to the hospital. Didn't eat for 17 hrs. I didn't even get a hospital gown. No tooth paste , shampoo ect.I had to sleep in my clothes i went to the hospital in.When I was able to eat they did bring me what they call lunch.. it was slimy and barely warm, the bread what soggy and everything looked disgusting. I told them just to take it away that I wasn't eating their so called food. The o er night nurses was amazing checking on me. The day nurse not so much. I'm ready to get out

Around 6:30 am on Thursday the 20th of October I was admitted in ER for severe case of Hives. My first experience with hives. We were traveling and had stayed in a Motel off of Hwy 26. The hives were severe and the reason for the ER visit in Johnson City. I want the staff on duty and the next staff (change of shifts) that I could not have had any better care from the doctors and all that was involved. I would call the care I received excellent, courteous, concerned, knowledgeable, and friendly service immediate care and solved the problem so we could continue our trip to Florida. I wish I could give the entire ballad health system zero. The stranglehold they have on the health system in this state is disgusting. My grandmother has slipped through the cracks on multiple occasions through the past two years. They will discharge you early so that Medicare does not cover your expenses. They would gaslight you and lie to you. They will discharge you without ensuring that you’re in a state to be discharged. My grandmother was discharged from the hospital and had to go back four days later for an infection they say that she didn’t have. Ballad health is an absolute joke. Don’t waste your time or energy. You might as well go somewhere else. If ballad health is attached to it forget it.

You don't. If you don't die while you're in there, they'll bleed you to death with the billing. I'm surprised that they don't send an individual bill for each medication, each time it's administered. If you do die in there, I'm certain that they'll be billing your spouse.
I agree They almost killed me 3x's and DID kill a friend of mine!!!! I don't intend to everrr go back!!! Something desperately NEEDS to be DONE at Ballad Health..,.so ooo understaffed and NOBODY on the same page...mass confusion.. .guesstimate every thing!!!!

My wife just spent 32 days there. The nurses in Interventional Holding and in the 4300 wing are phenomenal. During this time, we might have have 3 individuals I would consider below par. Otherwise, I hope if I get sick, the staff caring for me are half as professional and I'll know that I'm getting top notch care. It is a hospital with ER. If you have acute issues, you can go to ER
They have myChart that you can use to keep track of test results, pay bills, and keep track of your medical history.
sometimes if you go by and a red light stops you it will say that your at a place
They do have set hours I don't know exactly what time they are I know you can go anytime of the morning from 6:00 a.m. I believe it might be like 9:00 or 10:00 at night I'm not for sure though

I know that's way too long to be seen for your emergency you had. The wait is horrible & the nurse's/Dr's. & manager's there think they're high o mighty and are not as professional as they should be, especially when it comes to new employees and if you're not "one of them" you're way too low or don't meet their standards enough to be their friend... How rude and sorry but some of you females and male's remember where you once came from! Some rich already and the other's from a much less than wealthy lifestyle so get your head's out of your butts and realize that we're all equal and who are you to do any such judging. Just sayin' I'm mainly speaking of the ER dept. Mean people and they seem to not care about anyone anymore. Oh, I used to work there in ER dept. And how rude most of you were! That's mainly why I quit. Never again! Oh and GO Franklin Woods Hospital y'all rock 🎸 and nice, have compassion for the sick and their waiting time is very fast. Hardly ever have to wait! Good 👍
