Great guided tour. The guide James is very cool. Amazing place.

A nice place to hang out
Carolina Reduzzi
We went to the brewery tour and really enjoyed it. They serve very interesting beers and the price is very good for the quality and amount of beers. I would only have preferred to have some snacks served with the beers, but they are not included in the tour.

pretty cool I would go at least once. definitely go with a group though because you end up being able to get better deals. brooklyn bowl is right next door and this is a bumping area of williamsburg in general

Yes.
We're glad you asked! We serve our beers in glasses, but during some very busy hours we'll switch over to plastic cups to be sure everyone gets their drink order promptly. Our plastic cups are made of a biodegradable polymer to reduce the environmental impact of standard plastic cups. Stop by sometime and we'll happily tell you more over a glass or two of beer.
They gladly serve you beers for cash
Go there during the weekend, gwt in the line at the entrance. You will be asked if you want to take the tour, if you say yes, they will give you a free entrance ticket for the next one with availabilities (every 30 mins). Enjoy!!!
Yes
Hi Jean, we do not have gluten free beer available. As Annmarie mentioned we do have our new Brooklyn Hard Seltzer, as well as hard cider and wine from local friends to fill out our gluten free offerings. Come by and try them out sometime!
Hey Katie and Chuck, to track down Brooklyn Lager in western NY try using our Beer Finder at https://brooklynbrewery.com/beer-finder/. It's always worth calling ahead to double check stock. Good luck!
Hi Adriana, we are currently accepting bookings for groups and private events. Please visit https://brooklynbrewery.com/visit-us/private-events/ to learn more and start booking!
Hey Blake, we promise more is on the way but we can't always guarantee shipping times. We recommend asking your stores when they'll have it in stock (and remind them to order more if they're out, of course.) You can also try our Beer Finder to look for other East IPA spots near you- good luck!: https://brooklynbrewery.com/beer-finder/
Hi Neil, we don't sell St. Ides Kiwi Strawberry but we're your spot for Brooklyn Brewery beer. Good luck on your hunt, and keep us in mind if you're looking for some other tasty options.
Hi Claire, our distributor in Clinton County is Craft Brewers Guild. Thanks for reaching out!
Hi Anetta, we pour Brooklyn Brewery beer and a handful of guest cider, wine, and sakes. Come visit and try some out!
Hi Debbie- sugar outside Belgium style beers is both controversial and mostly unnecessary. I have a crazy sensitive palate (and I love Belgium beer). Brooklyn do not use sugar other than maybe for priming....unless brewing Belgium style beer. As an experienced brewer I rate their beers very highly. If brewing, use sugar with caution and always invert it.
Hey Ron, we're sorry our line policy wasn't clearly explained. We're going to update our website to make it more clear and address this with our staff, so thank you for your feedback. Our lines tend to be especially hectic on weekends, but we hope you'll come back for a weeknight visit sometime so we can relax over a beer together.
Hello Joan, our building was never home to the Greenpoint Sugar Plant. It started as a part of Hecla Iron Works, later saw use as a textile mill, matzoh factory, and storage, and sat unused for a time before we filled it with our offices, brewhouses, and Tasting Room. Come stop by some time-- our store staff knows a good amount about the history of the neighborhood.
Ask at your local beer shop to see if they can help you track down a case, or stop by our Tasting Room to stock up in our Company Store. Good luck!
It depends on the event. Generally the bar will remain open to the public during free events, while ticketed events will be reserved for ticketholders only. Please visit brooklynbrewery.com/visit for more info before you come see us, and drop us a line via social media with any questions.
Hey Denny, we do not currently distribute to Wisconsin. Keep an eye out for more news as Brooklyn Special Effects continues to spread, and with a little luck it might end up within your reach.
We're open from 12 noon to 12 midnight on Saturdays, but please be sure to check out website before you visit to make sure there are no events that have changed our plans. Thanks for asking— we'll see you soon!
Hey Jose, our bartenders will be able to help you out in picking beers to try. Tell them what you like and dislike in a beer, and they'll guide you to something satisfying.
No, they only sell their own beer.
Yes
Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and must not consume any beer or alcoholic beverages. Other than that, all are welcome.
Not right now. Undergoing renovations. Check social media for when they reopen this month.
There is no cost to enter, I do not think they will let you in with minors, because they check your identification at the entrance.
On the tasting menu now.

The best way I know of to find a particular beer near you: If you like beer, I suggest you get the "Untappd" app (no "e" in the name). Within the app you can search breweries. On the brewery's page, you can see the list of beers (this is not always 100% up to date with breweries changing their beers so often). When you click on a beer, there is an option for "Find It" within 75 mile radius of your location. The app is great for finding new places to enjoy craft beers and tracking what you like and do not like. It has a social networking component that enables you to see what your friends like (great for those hard-to-buy people) and the places that are popular in your area. You can also see what the untappd users think of a beer before trying. If you are not finding Brooklyn beers near you, the app will let you see who is 'checking in' the beers most recently, and those beers most recently checked in are most likely to be currently available. CHEERS!
