I had to change Vets since I moved . I am so happy I did ! Oakhurst Vet is amazing. The entire design inside is beautiful and so comfortable for your pups. I loved Dr. Schroeder. He made both by pups so at ease when they were so scared. The advice and directions were so helpful and made me so relaxed to know I have help! Thank you to all that made us so welcome🥰🌻

Dr. Alberta treated our "old girl" Gertie on an emergency visit last week. Being almost 20 years old, Gertie is actually quite healthy, but woke up with a disturbing eye problem. I called Oakhurst Vet and rushed over. Dr. Alberta requested to keep her for several hours so she could test and observe her. Extremely kind and an excellent listener, Dr. Alberta is an astute diagnostician. She explained, in detail, Gertie's current challenge and sent us home feeling confident and calmer that Gertie would be feeling better. Our family's 4 cats: Luna, Homer, Florence + Gertie have been cared for at Oakhurst for many years. I have written many accolades expounding the extraordinary care they have received at Oakhurst Vet, and yet with every visit there is more to say about the consistent and phenomenal care our cats receive. The support is multi-faceted, as the staff from front desk to the techs, are all outstanding. We are deeply grateful for the consistent quality, warmth and wisdom provided by Oakhurst Vet. I offer my deep gratitude to Dr. Alberta for her recent medical support of my dear cat Gertie.

Dr Schock takes very good care of our new puppy. She also did all she could on our older dog before he passed. She was able to give us 3 more months with him. They are reasonably priced(if you look around for other quality vets and pet meds).

Yes
The building was originally Millar Animal Hospital. It was purchase in 1986 by the present owners and they put an addition on in 2008. It’s one of the oldest small animal hospitals in the state!
