Difficult terrain, would recommend only for trained hikers. There have been couple of deaths near this area because there’s no defined trail to the bottom of the fall. Best would be to take a guide and do waterfall rappelling like we did.

Beautiful hike but limited views of the falls as it was summer and all the shrubbery was in full bloom.

There are two ways in. The most common is the one that takes you to the lookout above the falls and gives you a nice view but a hard trail down if you go all the way to the falls. The other is from Green River Cove, through the Walcott botooms and up the creek to the pool below the falls. Either way, be prepared for snakes and remember that an emergency team is a long time away.
