My friend and I have been here twice, and we still can't make sense of the trails. The trail colors aren't even consistent from one map to another. ZERO TRAIL BLAZES. You're only supposed to go one way so the bikes can go the other way, but the signs that tell you which way to go are so few and far between that it literally switched directions on us at different points on the trail without us knowing. Never could find more than the couple of trickling falls. Is there supposed to be a decent-sized waterfall here or is that it? NONE of the trail heads are easy to find...... it's a hiker's disaster!!

Awesome waterfalls. You can find them on the trail behind the playground on the trail...go to the right.

There aren't benches or resting spots along the JFA trail. There is a much shorter asphalt path that starts at the pond parking are. There are picnic benches near the top of it. It's a much easier walk.

Go to the DNR website and They have specific dates. They did stock this area in early May.
You have to call the park office during business hours. Phone number is on their website.
Having worked for the people who stock it, I can tell you that there are a bunch of different factors including water temps, forecasts, available stocking fish etc. So there is no hard and fast rule. You should be able to look on the DNR website and tell what they have stocked in the past week, but they dont release the schedule in advance.
You probably just need a valid SC fishing license and follow SC DNR guidelines
