If you’re considering an adult community I strongly advise skipping this location all together. The Community Board control the neighborhood as if it’s the old Soviet Union. They have Spies that walk around peering into your homes, looking for anything to run back to the Communists with a list of complaints. Be for warned that you may think you own your house, you don’t. The Communist Board control everything you do, not just the outside of your house, but the inside as well. Instead of welcoming new neighbors to the Adult Community, they send threatening letters that includes possible fines for the way you choose to decorate your house, inside and outside. Just imagine being a 67 year old Marine Corps Vietnam Vet and a retired Police Officer and his 60 year old wife downsizing to a rancher and immediately being harassed by peeping toms, spies, and a Communist Style Board. Complaints range from adding a larger walk-in closet for the wife ( which everywoman would love. And think, how would anyone know what you did inside your own house?), to hanging bird houses and bird feeders on “your” property, a beautiful primitive welcoming sign above the front door, a primitive American Star on the house...the list goes on. They literally send Threatening Letters Demanding You Appear Before The Communist Board Members Or Suffer The Consequences. STAY AWAY!
