Great place to stay. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great staff and wonderful amenities. I love that it is located directly in front of the local brewery (Bugs Island Brewery), and you can just walk over, have a couple of beers and relax. The owner AB is a great host and will greet you with a smile. It is like my home away from home.

Staff was unbelievably amazingly welcoming and nice! Rooms are newly remodeled. Workers onsite remodeling are very nice and considerate of the guests! I will definitely stay here again. Hotel is placed located on an amazing vantage point of the Roanoke river. Thank you!!!

What an excellent experience in an awesome hotel. We only stayed for an overnight but it was absolutely perfect. The host that greeted us, Sharon, was phenomenal. She was friendly and answered all of our questions as well as offered further assistance if we needed. The breakfast was both warm and portable if need be. Lastly, our room was SO clean. 10/10

I can’t express how much that this WONDERFUL PLACE has been completely remodeled. My cousin Chuck and I have been staying here since 2003 for the Fishing tournaments. The old rooms smelled like cigarettes and other different smells. I want to tell you all that I’ve seen since our last visit 2019. Every room has new flooring, new paint, new refrigerator/freezer that does an awesome job at keeping things COLD and FROZEN, new carpet in the breeze ways on levels of the Hotel, new microwaves to every room, new lamps are LED, the parking lot has all new LED LIGHTS. The new owner BA is a true getter done gentleman. He loves showing off the everything that they’ve done here SEVERAL HUNDRED HOURS of work is starting to payoff!a Tanya front desk, A.B.
