Was in Hospital Rehabilitation and move from Hospital even though I was not supposed to leave, because my Surgeon had never released me to travel. I am trying to get my Rehab going but it’s been hard to get them to come in to my home

I have found the staff to be caring, compassionate, and competent following my recent stroke.

I was in CFR about 2 years ago and I hated it!! The nurses were not friendly at all (except a few), and the therapists were horrible. Whether I was bleeding from my incision or throwing up, they still expected you to be there for therapy . I never wanted to see them again. Well, guess what.... I had major back surgery and this is where they put me. As much as I was dreading it, they were all great except for one nurse. When I say great, I mean great! All of them like hospitality, nurses, therapist, doctors, all of them.

I sat in my room over 4 hours in pain, constantly calling and paging ANY nurse. One finally came and blamed lack of response on a shift change that happened hours before. Some workers you come in contact with, have the worse attitude. This is one place I hope no one ever has to go.

Thank you for your question, Cynthia. While COVID-19 is an issue, we do not have plans to change our visitation policy. We understand that the limitations are frustrating, but you will find they are best practices among hospitals and are in place because our patients' safety is our top concern.
