Disappointed with service for tankless water heater. I contacted Palmetto Gas for service on my Rinnai tankless water heater. This company is my propane supplier and also had installed the gas lines and regulator for my water heater approximately a year ago. I was told that they would NOT service the Rinnai because I didn’t purchase it from them. I questioned them because they are a Rinnai dealer etc but they were emphatic. I didn’t bother explaining that the reason I didn’t buy it from them was because their price was about $3000 more than other sellers. Passing this on for what it’s worth...

After feeling that my business didn’t matter, I was contacted by Al, who has been at the company for 20 plus years. He listened and apologized for the troubles We had. He agreed to fix the problem and had someone at the house very quickly and they indeed fixed the small problem I had with the grill. Because of the generous response I am raising the stars from 1 to 4 stars. I wish it didn’t take a bad review to get good service but I also understand that mistakes happen and by addressing it head on and not making excuses, I felt they deserved an edited review and a positive feedback for their efforts.
