This office in Rogersville Tennessee HAS a major problem helping those in dire need of assistance. I personally have been on the so called list for 3 years. I am on disability which makes it hard to find any other type of housing. Therefore I have tried calling on a regular basis for availability of a 1 bedroom. As I have learned it does not matter how often I call in, I get the same response from the receptionist in a like a recording.....(Your on the waiting list). So tell me, Does living in and out of my car for 3 years keep me how much longer on waiting list. Maybe another 3 years in my car. I thought that the housing authority was setup to help the homeless, like myself and the disabled, like myself. I CAN PROMISE THAT THE ROGERSVILLE TENNESSEE HOUSING AUTHORITY DOES NOT HELP THE HOMELESS OR DISABLED, LIKE MYSELF.
