This is my second delivery to Publix. Not impressed. The last one in north Carolina was bad enough. 13 hours to get unloaded. This one is worse. They tell you to pick any door between these numbers. You get to them and they are all full. You go back and tell them. She says to just watch for one to open and then come tell me which one your in. So everything 1 truck pulls out, 5 trucks are playing road rage bumper cars to get it. I will never deliver to a Publix again. 2 for 2 are batting 0

How do u contact them? This has been going on for years. They won't do anything. Publix has all these companies by the balls. Especially prepaid load will take a while shift. Not including having to wait for the paperwork and light. If you not a employee they don't care. Unless your a favorite. It never fails. And I have been to a lot of publix distribution. Its horrible and sad how they do truckers.
Always or they feeding them. Like this morning takes from 6am or later to feed workers before they start work now we will be here until 5pm waiting to get unloaded. It don't take till 12 noon to eat breakfast. Not counting the ones taking plates home. They don't care about truck drivers who is not employed by Publix. And high unloading fees. They will get them like they did Walmart.
One hour before appt and they should let you through.
It's like any other Grocery Warehouse.....Same story...just a different location
I've had to wait 3 hours for paperwork! It's crazy there!!
Only done through existing contacts, like a Broker. Your RateCon may have a contact # for the shipping/receiving dept.
Yea it's one a few miles up the road.... Just go on Google and type in Wal-Mart near me and it will come up
Call and ask
Yes. On the right past 2nd guard gate where you check in
Just give the company a call and try. Might it's fine
Jason they use a lumper they are slow capstone is the name
They now use crown reach lift. There are still a few raymonds left but they are being replaced by crown.
They hire their drivers from within the company. Which explains a lot of the Publix drivers on the road.
It will take 10 hrs to unload. You'll get plenty of down time here
No, they don't. This is not corporate though.
It depends on the number of applicants for that particular position. Usually, around a week or two. If I still remember, a call for drug test and agility test are will confirm that you got the job. I hope that help. Let me know if you have any other questions.
I had a 7:30am appointment, arrived the day before around 9pm, had no problems.
Ours are normally drop n hook and they have plenty of OT parking.
Take Hwy 316 towards Athens. Turn left onto Hurricane shoals and they'll be up on the right.
I didn't run into any problems. They were very helpful and courteous to me
