Great community resource with friendly and helpful staff. You can even get healthcare there on Wednesdays.

I understand you have policies and procedures, but don't tell me you don't have a restroom I can use! I had to GO! Like where do y'all pee?

Took my son to get some help and they sent him back home after a 5 mins conversation today. It’s a shame people ask for help and can’t even get a real conversation… I see why the mental get frustrated and do what they feel they need to get the peace of mind they feel they need. CAUSE NOONE LISTENS…

Questions & Answers

I have a son who deals with PTSD, social anxieties, bipolar disorder, & schizophrenia. He doesn't like to take medications. Says they make him sick & feel strange. Is there an alternative to the meds & can I bring him in for someone to talk to?

There is always an alternative to medications. Sometimes its finding the right ones. I have had personal experience with Riveredge and they will work with you on what is best for him. He may need a change in medication. Just be up front with how they make him feel and talk with the dr. But you can bring him there and they will help you find a solution.
